Wayne, PA, June 17, 2019 – Jeff Curtis, MD MS MPH, noted rheumatologist and epidemiologist, who is involved in the study of the comparative effectiveness and safety of medications used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, has joined the Advisory Board of healthcare tech startup, CrossBridge.
Dr. Curtis is also a leader in the research of rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis.
He is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Co-Director of the UAB Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics (CERTS) of Musculoskeletal Disorders. Dr. Curtis is the Co-PI of the Patient Powered Research Network, “Arthritis-Power” registry. In 2015, he became a member of the FDA Arthritis Advisory Committee.
